Wimbledon Museum Welcomes First Photographer in Residence

Local photographer Shamani Surendran will be the Wimbledon Museum’s first ever Photographer in Residence next month after the Museum reopens on September 1st following its closure in August for essential maintenance and improvement works.

Visitors to the Museum during the weekends of September 15-17 and 22-24 will have the opportunity to view Shamani’s works in the adjacent Norman Plaistow gallery, including her many stunning images of trees and reflections on Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park, and can meet her to find out more about her practice.

The Museum is open Friday to Sunday from 2.30 – 5 pm.
