If you’re looking for a great day out to kick off the festive season and get the whole family into the Christmas spirit then make sure you join us on Sunday 3rd December for our annual community event, Christmas in the Village. It’s jam-packed with activities and attractions with something for everyone to enjoy.

Santa will be greeting and treating children in his Grotto throughout the day and at lunchtime he will even take to his trusty steed for a horseback parade down the High Street, complete with Elves and bells! The kids can also enjoy pony and fairground rides, face-painting, bauble-making, a petting farm, balloon twister, story time, dance and music sessions and will even have the chance to meet the local Fire Brigade.

Our Christmas market will be offering a great selection of festive food, drinks and gifts and visitors can soak up the Christmas vibe throughout the day with music from a host of choirs and bands. A number of the Village businesses will also be offering complimentary festive drinks and treats, competitions and special discounts on the day for everyone to enjoy.

We wrap up the day at 5pm with sing-along carols, mince pies and mulled wine at the Christmas Tree lights switch-on.
