Loy means to float. Krathong means a floating object with decoration of banana leaves, flowers, candles and incense sticks.

The hugely popular Loy Krathrong (or ‘floating flower’) day-long event at Europe’s largest original Thai temple will include a whole host of cultural performances and dozens of fabulous Thai food stalls.
