New High Street location for Farmers Market

Our hugely popular Sunday Farmers Market has relocated to the western section of the High Street (between the High Street and Lingfield Road) from its former Village Surgery car park location.

This new, larger site, which is fully pedestrianised, allows the Market to offer an even better selection of delicious fresh produce and ready to eat goodies in a more spacious, open environment.

Please drop by any time from 10am-3pm every Sunday.

The move is part of a broader development to introduce a new Pedestrian & Cycle Zone set up by the Council in response to Coronavirus.

The zone is designed to create a better environment for the local community and visitors, with more space for pedestrians to enjoy the Village. The zone currently operates from:

  • Thursday–Saturday between 6pm and 11pm; and on
  • Sunday between 9am and 11pm

Please not that ALL parking is suspended during the restricted hours. Any vehicle not moved prior to the start of the restricted period will be subject to a PCN & removed.

Dependant on feedback, a decision will be made by the Council early next year to either keep, modify or remove the zone.
