This year’s Christmas in the Village just got even more special with the addition of our first ever petting farm! We’re delighted to welcome Deen City Farm to the event who will be bringing a selection of cute and cuddly animals, big and small, for the children (and adults!) to enjoy. They’ll be located on the corner of Rushmere Green – the Village end of the Common, just beyond the Christmas Market.

Also added to the day….Make a bauble to hang on the Friends of Wimbledon & Putney Commons’ Wish Tree and be in with a chance of winning a private family visit to see Santa at the Windmill Christmas Carols on December 10th. The Friends will also be selling their beautiful 2023 calendars featuring the 12 winning photos of the Commons from their recent picture competition. This activity is being held at The Coach House at The Dog & Fox (use the hotel entrance on the furthest left of the building – next to the covered terrace). They will be joined by the Windmill Museum and the Wimbledon Society who will be selling a selection of books and goods.
