Basking in the beautiful Spring sunshine Wimbledon & Putney Commons are looking picture perfect, so why not head out today and try your hand at creating a winning image for the Wimbledon & Putney Commons’ 150th Anniversary Picture Competition?
The competition, which started last August, aims to compile and celebrate the best pictures of the Commons over the course of a year.
Last month’s winner was keen amateur photographer Samuel Culwick (@swcphotography2021)
Samuel, who is just 13 years old, won a meal for two with drinks at The Fire Stables for his stunning image of the Windmill at sunset (main image). The March competition winner will be rewarded with a fabulous prize from Village Butcher, Provenance.
To be in with a chance to win you can submit up to three entries of any medium – photography, sketch, painting or any other form you wish, as long as they are images of Wimbledon or Putney Common or Putney Heath, taken or created this month.
