Help transform the Rose Garden at Cannizaro Park. Volunteers will be planting, with help from idverde staff on topsoil logistics. Fit and healthy volunteers are also required to help bring new topsoil into the planting beds. Work will involve digging, raking and moving wheelbarrows. Regular volunteers will also be on site to support all newcomers. Work will take place Saturday, April 2nd from 10.00 am - 3.30 pm; with the added bonus of the Viking sculpture unveiling at 12.30 pm.…

An event from Go Inspire UK, a non-profit positive connection and support movement which aims to focus on improving women's mental health and well-being. The radiant summer celebration is an afternoon of art therapy, yoga and mindfulness and energy healing.

Cannizaro Park's Tuesday volunteers would like to invite members of the community to help with bulb planting on 27th September and 4th October. There's a whole range of bulbs to plant including daffodils, alliums and muscari, which will bring early spring colour to the Park for visitors and pollinators to enjoy. Volunteers can sign up for as long as they like between 9am and 12pm. They will need to bring their own gardening gloves but all other necessary equipment will be provided.
