Wimbledon Common's annual BioBlitz - Weekend of Nature will take place over the weekend of Friday 21st June to Sunday 23rd June. Starting at the Ranger's Office, the management team will take you for a walk around the Commons, explain about some of the current projects and conservation work, as well as sharing some anecdotal tales of the life of the everyday folk of the Commons. A Birdsong Walk exclusively for Friends of the Commons led by local bird expert, Les Evans-Hill. Taking in most of the Commons' habitats and terrain, the walk will cover around 2.5/3 miles, finishing back at the Ranger's Office around 11 am, where refreshments will be provided.  Hear birds such as Blackcaps, Song Thrush, Whitethroat, Wheatear and if you are very lucky, a Cuckoo!
