On 15 August last year, as part of their 150th Anniversary celebrations, the Friends of Wimbledon and Putney Commons launched a competition to find the best pictures of the Commons.

Over 1,500 entries were submitted over the course of the year, all vying for one of the fantastic prizes provided each month by local businesses.

A year on, the judges are asking the public to crown the overall winner. The deadline to choose your favourite has been extended until October 2nd, and there will be a prize for one lucky voter who will be drawn at random once voting finishes. Click here to view all images and cast your vote.

You can also visit an exhibition of the winning pictures at the Gallery in the Garage by the Rangers Office, where you’ll have the opportunity to bid to own a print, vote for your favourite and also view a selection of outstanding pictures.
