Next Saturday, the 25th September, the Friends of Wimbledon and Putney Commons are once again hosting their popular family activities day.
From 11am – 3pm, at the hub near the Ranger’s Office, Wild Learning will be set up with lots of activities for children including stick-man making, clay work, leaf printing and crowns, whittling and dreamcatcher making. Other activities include a Family Trail where you can walk the Common looking for clues; a wellness walk taking in some of the quieter parts of the Commons, and the chance to try out GeoCaching.
You can download the Activities Pack here or pick one up on the day.
All activities are free of charge but any donations are gratefully received and will all go towards the upkeep of the Commons.
